WCKD News - "This just in! Police are investigating a multiple murder, in the suburbs of rural GA. 37 people have been pronounced 'dead on arrival' by county coroner, Willie B. Rags. Police Chief Sugar Balls told WCKD, 'We have no doubt in our minds that this is the workings of Loony J. As many of your viewers know, Loony J is the man that escaped from Georgia Regional back in December of 2007. We are still on the lookout for him, but up to now he has not done anything to spark the public interest. I feel that the public remembers him and how dangerous he really is. We encourage all to assist us in bringing this individual to justice.' More on this, tonight at 6."

    Bio

I started making music back in 1999 with my first band, Eyes of Death. It was to be a Death Metal band, but none of the guys had the passion that I did, so it was more of a club than a band. I had to give up on it. After moving to Indiana in 2001, I joined another metal band, Mind Mimic with my buddy Patrick. I was the drummer. The music wasn't right for me, so I quit that too. I went 4 years not doing shit musically and I ended up getting married in 2005. BIG MISTAKE!!! But I'm done with it, so I won't give all the details on here no more. In October of 07, I joined a band called The Unknown. After being told that I needed to tone down my subject matter, I said to hell with you, and ventured back into the love of my life...The Horrorcore rap scene. The time is now December '07. In Febuary of '08 I found me a new girl, and she keeps supporting me and my music everyday. I don't think I'm the best, I'm far from it. But I've heard from a few people that I do have some skills.

    Why this name?

Loony J is an escapee from Georgia Regional, a mental hospital/psych ward. When he escaped, he was determined to stay in the publics eye, even when the news of the escape died down. So far, he has done just that. With songs like "C.H.S. Littleton" and "Tuer Tout", the public cannot deny that Loony J is a very troubled individual, in dire need of better psychiatric care.

    Do you play live?

Unforunately I have not played live since starting as Loony J. So if anyone wants the show of a lifetime, hit me up.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

The internet changes the music industry because it gives artists an extra, more accessible, outlet. Radio and TV are ok, but it is becoming more and more difficult to get your music on those outlets. MP3's change everything because someone can put songs onto an iPod instead of older forms, and not have to worry about a cd scratching, a tape melting (people in hot climates know how that is), or having to change the tape/cd when you want to hear a different song. Also, with mp3's you can place more of them into any media and play more songs with a bigger library of artists and not have to buy an entire album, just for that one song that touches you.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I would sign with a major label as long as I still had a say in what it is that I write. I would request that I have the biggest say in what I do as far as writing.

    What is your musical history?

I first began a music venture back in 1999 with a band that I called "Eyes Of Death". When the other members stopped caring for the music, I dropped it. In 2001 I moved from Georgia to Indiana and joined another band, "Mind Mimic". The music just didn't feel right for me, so I quit that as well. I stopped doing music for a few years after that until in 2006 I attempted to enter the horrorcore rap scene, under the persona of "Kovered Killa". My trademark was a wolf's mask. Due to personal reasons, I wasn't able to do that, so I gave up on it. In late 2007, I joined a band called "The Unknown". I was with that band for only one and a half months, before I was told by all the members that I needed to tone down. I said, "If I can't be me, and write my own words, then f*** all of ya'll". I quit that. Then in December of 2007 I started back into the horrorcore scene, and have been here since.

    Who are your influences?

My biggest influences are death metal and horrorcore rap. The easiest way to describe it is put Cradle of Filth, Tupac, and Charles Manson in one room and have them all write a song together.

What do you use to produce your music and record your vocals?

I produce my own beats and for that, I use FL Studio 8. When recording my vocals, I use Sony Acid Pro 7.0 and Sony Sound Forge 9.0. Then for vocal effects, I use Audacity 1.3.6 and Sony Sound Forge 9.0.
